제 불신을 고쳐주소서

"오직 믿음으로 구하고 아무것도 의심하지 말라. 의심하는 자는 마치 바람에 밀려 요동하는 바다 물결 같으니, 그 사람은 주께로부터 어떤 것이든 받으리라 생각하지 말라”
(야고보서 1:6-7).
세상은 하나님의 말씀을 붙들지 않는 그리스도인들로 가득 차 있습니다.
그들은 마치 하나님께서 듣지 않으시는 양,
교회 탁상에 둘러앉아 수군거리며 불평하는 것을 아무렇지도 않은 일로 생각합니다.
그러나 하나님은 우리의 투덜거림을 들으십니다!
그러한 투덜거림은 하나님이무관심하다는 비난이며,
그분이 우리를 실망하게 했다고 은근히 불평하는 암시입니다.
하나님께서는 끊임없이 저를 괴롭히는 의심과 두려움에 대해 누구에게도-아내, 친구들, 사랑하는 자들, 그리고 직장 동료 등-언급하지 말라고 경고하셨습니다.
하나님은 우리에게, 그러한 의심들을 십자가로 가져가서
“예수님, 제 불신을 고쳐주소서. 그것을 없애주세요.”라고 말하라고 권고하십니다.
이스라엘은 험담, 불평, 비통과 질투로 가득한 혼란스러운 40년을 보냈습니다.
하나님의 자녀라고 자칭하면서도, 거룩을 주장하면서도,
그들이 얼마나 비참한 삶을 살았는지요.
그러나 이렇게 불만에 찬 삶의 증언은 그들에게 속한 것이었지,
하나님께 속한 것은 아니었습니다.
당신은 하나님을 신뢰하는 장소로 나와야만 합니다.
지금 당신이 그것을 배울 수 있다면,
다음에 시련이 올 때 당신의 구원자에게 노래하며, 찬양으로 외칠 수 있을 것입니다!
아 당신이 맛볼 그 승리여!
그런데 그보다 더 중요한 것은,
당신이 모든 의심과 두려움, 그리고 불신에 치명타를 가했다는 사실일 것입니다.
그렇다면 어디서부터 시작해야 할까요?
하나님 말씀의 거울을 똑바로 들여다보는 것으로부터입니다.
지난 30일 동안 당신이 했던 말과 행실을 살펴 보십시오.
투덜거린 적이 있습니까? 불평은요?
아마도 이렇게 대답할 수 있겠지요.
“예, 그랬습니다. 하지만 하나님한테 불평한 것은 아닙니다!”
그렇습니다. 하나님한테 한 것입니다!
당신이 어디서 불평했던지, 누구에게 불평했던 지를 막론하고,
그것은 모두 하나님을 향한 것이었습니다.
저는 성경을 펴는 곳마다 하나님께서 우리에게 이렇게 말씀하시는 것을 봅니다.
“나를 신뢰하라. 그리하면 내가 너를 도울 것이다. 네 모든 행사를 내게 맡겨라.”
그러면 우리가 어떻게 해야 합니까?
간단합니다. 잠잠히 서서 주님의 구원 하심을 보십시오.
그러나 당신은 이렇게 반문할 것입니다.
“그래도 아무 일이 안 일어난다면요?”
그러한 반응이 바로 당신의 의심과 두려움을 표출하고 있는 겁니다.
여러분, 오늘 하나님께로 나아가세요.
그리고 이렇게 말씀 드리세요.
“주님, 저는 제 상황 가운데서 제가 아는 모든 방법을 다 써보았습니다.
하지만 이 문제를 해결하기 위해 제가 할 수 있는 것이 아무 것도 없다는 사실을 알겠습니다.
이제 당신을 신뢰하며 당신의 승리를 기다리겠습니다.
그분의 신실하심의 증인으로서,
하나님께서 당신으로 하여금 세상을 향해 간증하게 하십시오.
바로 지금 당신의 온 마음을 다해 그 분을 사랑하십시오.
당신의 모든 문제, 모든 믿음, 그리고 모든 신뢰를 그분께 올려 드리세요!
HEAL MY UNBELIEF

"Ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea
driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall
receive any thing of the Lord" (James 1:6-7).
The world is full of Christians who will not hold on to God's Word. They think
it is an innocent thing to sit at the table in the house of God and murmur and
complain, as if God doesn't hear. God does hear our murmurings! They are
accusations that He does not care, insinuations that He has let us down.
God has warned me not to give voice to nagging doubts and fears—not to my
wife, not to friends, not to loved ones, not to colleagues. God says to take
those doubts to the cross and say, "Jesus, heal my unbelief. Take it out."
Israel spent forty years in turmoil—backbiting, complaining, full of
bitterness and jealousy. What a miserable existence they led while claiming to
be the children of God, claiming to be holy. But that was their testimony, not
God's.
You must come to a place where you trust Him. If you learn it now, the next
time a crisis comes you will sing and shout with praises to your Deliverer! Oh,
the victory will be there but more importantly, you will have dealt a deathblow
to all doubt, fear and unbelief.
Where do you start? By looking right into the mirror of God's Word. Consider
your words and actions over the last thirty days: Have you been murmuring?
Complaining? You may answer, "Yes, but I haven't been murmuring at God!" Oh
yes, you have! No matter where or to whom you complain, it is all directed at
God.
Every place I turn in my Bible, I see, "Trust Me and I'll see you through. Just
commit your ways to Me." What does that require? Simply this: Stand still and
see the salvation of the Lord. You ask, "But what if nothing happens?" That
response reveals doubt and fear.
Beloved, turn to God today and say, "Lord, I've done everything I know how to
do in my situation. I know there's nothing I can do to fix the problem anyway.
I'm going to trust You and wait for Your victory.”
Let God make you a testimony to the world, a witness of His faithfulness. Love
Him with all your heart right now. Give Him all your problems, all your faith
and all your trust!
